Well third try. - This blog software isn't all that easy - a click on the wrong place and your half done entry is gone.
I wanted to talk about the eeedit release I prepared today. It's not strictly an Ada project but taking the "Eclipse Hibachi Project" and AdaCore's gnatbench project it seems that eclipse is the way to go - even for Ada programmers.
Anyway, eeedit embeds Vim into eclipse as the eclipse editor is not all that cool when it comes to bog standart text editing.

Hi Martin. First of all, it's good to see a new Blog about the Ada language. I've subscribed to it, and am willing to read more of your interesting posts!
I have two comments: first, in this post you have two links to http://code.google.com/p/eeedit/ but the first one is broken due to a copy & paste error. Second, if you plan to always write in English, it would be a good idea to configure the blog as no text is shown in German.
